Experience the magic of the Kalahari.
A wide, open salt pan beneath unending stars.
Owls sweep silently overhead, their shadows briefly revealed in the moon’s glow as they dine.
A bat-eared fox family pauses for a refreshing drink after a hot day, while the setting sun paints the sky in magnificent hues.
All of this unfolds in the presence of one of our lively meerkat mobs; ever entertaining, ever watchful.
As the Kalahari settles into silence and the sun bids farewell, the stars emerge to greet you. In this breathtaking moment, we invite you to a feast.
A three-course dinner, lovingly prepared with fine touches and paired with your wine of choice.
This exclusive dining experience accommodates between 2 and 8 guests.
While your taste buds are treated, every sense is awakened by the extraordinary details of the landscape, the stillness, the sounds, the vastness.
And at the heart of it all lies a deeper purpose: Every experience contributes to giving freedom back to these magnificent little desert warriors - The Kalahari Meerkat.
Price: R800 per person.

With a proven 90% release success rate, we have returned nearly 4,000 meerkats to the wild, safeguarding the ecological integrity of the Kalahari desert ecosystem.

We have successfully relocated to our new centre with 300+ meerkats in our care. We need your help to finish the setup—building enclosures, supplying food, and stocking medical essentials. Please support the meerkats by donating; recurring monthly gifts help us budget carefully.
