You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use it in any way that is unlawful, that could damage or disrupt the website or its security, or that infringes the rights of others. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the website at any time without notice.
As an approved Section 18A organisation, we can issue tax-deductible receipts to South African taxpayers — individuals, companies and trusts — for qualifying donations.
We do not issue a certificate automatically for every donation. Certificates are issued on request only. You may request a certificate at any time, and the sooner the better; but to ensure your donation is reported to SARS for the correct tax year, please request it by 30 April following the tax year in which you donated (the South African tax year runs from 1 March to the end of February). Requests received after that date may only be processed and reported in the next reporting cycle.
To issue a valid certificate, SARS requires us to record certain details about you. When you request a certificate, please provide:
We are required to report the Section 18A receipts we issue, together with these donor details, to SARS through the IT3(d) third-party data process. By requesting a certificate, you agree to this reporting.
Request a Section 18A certificate here.
A Section 18A receipt allows a qualifying donor to claim a tax deduction, subject to SARS rules and limits (generally up to 10% of taxable income, with any excess carried forward) and to your own tax circumstances. We do not provide tax advice; please consult your own tax adviser.
Donations are voluntary gifts and are non-refundable. If a payment was not authorised by you or was duplicated, please contact us at [email protected] and we will arrange a correction with the relevant payment provider.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute relating to them is subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version, with its effective date, will always be available on this website. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
